Tests and measurements of separate circuits within electrical switchgear and electrical installations are subject to normative requirements DIN or also DIN VDE. Test disconnect terminal blocks and neutral disconnect terminal blocks (N-disconnect terminals) are used to safely disconnect a circuit on a terminal without disconnecting the connected conductor for this purpose.
Various designs and versions (color, type of connection, cross-section) of the terminals enable the circuit to be separated or contacted to the 10x3 electrical busbar or N busbar, for example, for an insulation resistance measurement, which is required by VDE in public facilities. The opening and closing of the disconnect lever, slider or N-slider can be realized easily and safely with a screwdriver.
Sensors and actuators can be wired safely and quickly with a simple "CLICK". The compact Klippon® Connect fuse and disconnect terminal blocks are now also available with the innovative SNAP IN connection system. A special feature of the terminal blocks is the wide range of cross-connection options, which are located in front of and behind the separate or security area. These offer maximum flexibility to easily and reliably multiply potentials or signals - perfectly matched to the growing requirements and variety of signals in modern panel building.
Our ADT 1.5 disconnect terminal blocks offer the option of disconnecting signals up to 10 A with a minimum width of just 3.5 mm. Integrated and standardized testing points in front of and behind the disconnection area enable simple and safe testing and inspection in the field, even when wired.
On the website Engineering Data you will find an extensive selection of downloads related to CAT data. For the quick integration of our products into your design, a wide range of digital product data is available for engineering systems such as EPLAN (EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN Pro Panel), Zuken E3.series, WSCAD and many others. These data allow a precise representation of disconnect terminal blocks, test disconnect terminal blocks or also N-wire disconnect terminal blocks (blue) in 3D and show all relevant electrotechnical and business characteristics.
